Exclusion is an ordinary practice, one closes out things or others from one’s circle day by day. The examples presented in this selection involve situations without tension. The focus is on turning peaceful events into conflicts. Frequently, the juxtapositions are created by the photo, however, in reality they are nonexistent. The represented events are shifted from their original surroundings or context, and attributed with unusual connotations. Besides conventional, stigmatized victims of exclusion, the selection aims at featuring other, neutral subjects of the phenomenon, obviously not receiving attention.
